Individual Requirements

Ear and Impact Resitant
and Wrap Around Eye Protection is Mandatory. (No glass or eye wear without side protection will be allowed.)
NOTE: Distraction devices will be used on the last day. Goggles would be recommended if you wear prescription eye wear.

Comfortable clothing suitable for the range under all weather conditions. (Expect rain, being British it rains for me regardless of location and season!)

Body armour must be worn for all the live-fire, room entry segments.

Full tactical equipment and body armour is required fro all practical exercises.

Note: If you're currently a holder of a "Singleton International" MP5/Colt Instructor certificate, you may attend this program with a H&K and/or Colt. (I appologise, but this offer is to recipients of my Instructor certificate only.) |
Ammunition:
If you are attending with a .223 cal. rifle, (see above note) you are ONLY allowed to use "Soft Point ammunition"

Shoot House Structure & Construction to Include:
Configuration. Doors & Windows.
Target Placement.
Firearms Safety & Arcs-of-Fire.
Assembling a Shoot House.
Safety Concerns For Furniture & Obstacle Placement.
Practical Demonstration of Facility Usage.
Afternoon.
Ranges:
Indexing & Safe Finger Positioning.
Isosceles "v" Weaver/Sideways Stances.
Grip, Stance & Ready Position. Aiming and Firing.
Load/Unload and Reload.
Speed Reaction Shot.
Single/Multiple Rounds.
Firing-on-the-Move, Single Target.
Day 2
Morning.
Classroom. Dynamic Clearing Lecture To Include:
Tactical Principals.
Immediate Threat Concept.
Room Clearance Technique.
2 & 4 Man Room Clearance.
Team Building Clearance.
Dry-Fire Building Exercises:
Immediate Threat & Room Assault Techniques.
Dry-Fire, Paired Single Room Entries, etc.
Afternoon.
Ranges:
Firing-on-the-Move, Paired Muzzle control Drill.
Tactical Reload/Malfunctions Drills in Pairs.
Firing-on-the-Move, Angled & Lateral.
Shoot House:
Revision, Safety Concerns For Furniture & Obstacle Placement.
Dry-Fire, 4 & 6 Man Teams, Room Entries.
Live-Fire, Paired Single Room Entries.
Paired, 4 & 6 Man Room Entries.
Day 3
Morning.
Ranges:
Firing-on-the-Move, Speed "v" Accuracy.
Firing-on-the-Move, Multiple Targets.
Firing-on-the-Move, Angled and Lateral Shooting.
Shoot House:
Team Man Room Entries, etc.
Afternoon.
Shoot House:
Revision On Furniture Placement for Lateral Targets
Live-Fire Lateral Targets.
Team Room Entries Using Flashlights & Gas Masks.
Day 4
All Day.
Shoot House:
Tactical Deployment of Distraction Devices.
Large Team Room Assaults.
Shoot - No Shoot Targets.
Hostage Rescue Techniques.
Hostage Control, Evacuation and Reception.
Suspect Control & Evacuation.
Day 5
All Day.
Shoot House:
Attendees Supervising Live-Fire, Room Assaults, etc.
