The “Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy” is hosting a “Singleton international” 5 day MP5 & M4/M16 Instructor program at their range facilities in London, Oh. (25 miles West of Columbus)

Individual Requirements.

• Ear & Impact resistant and wrap-around eye protection.
• Comfortable clothing suitable for the range under all weather conditions. (expect rain, being British it rains for me regardless of location and season !)
• Full tactical equipment and body armour is not required.

Firearms:(You can attend with one or any of these firearms.)
I always run a double line where only half the attendees are shooting at one time, so two officers can attend with only one firearm between them.

• H&K MP5, 33, 53, G36 & UMP. (9mm, 10mm, .40cal or .45 ACP).
• Colt SMG, M4 or M16 A1 and/or A2 Rifle.
• Sling.
• 2 x 30 round or 3 x 20 round magazines per attendees.
• Hand gun and holster per attendee.

Ammunition:

• 2000 rounds of good factory manufactured ammunition.
  (I do not recommend cheap re-loads, military surplus or aluminum case ammo)
• 50 rounds of pistol ammunition.

Day 1

All Day. Classroom:

       Introduction & Administration.

       Methods of Instruction/Instructor Development Skills.

       Weapons Nomenclature.

       Breakdown & Assembly.

Afternoon:

       Mechanical Function Check & Function.

       Sights, Aiming, Zeroing & Adjustment.

       Fitting the Sling & Carrying Positions.

Day 2

Morning. Ranges.

       Load/Unload.

       Stance, Ready & Mounting.

       Safety Brief & Zero Sights.

       Controlling Full-Automatic/30 Round Burst.

Afternoon. Ranges:

       Maintenance.

       Two Rounds. 5 – 25 Yards.

       Multiple Rounds/Rapid Fire.

       Drugs & Body Armour Drills. (Head & Pelvic Shots.)

Day 3

Morning. Ranges.

       Introduction to Full-Automatic.

       Trigger Control on Full-Automatic, Static.

       Firing-on-the-Move.

       Firing-on-the-Move, Trigger Control.

Afternoon. Ranges:

       Firing-on-the-Move, Lateral/Angled.

       Paired/Covered, Tactical Reload Drills.

       Covering Positions & Verbalisation.

Day 4

Morning. Ranges.

       Tactical Back-Up-Weapon in Pairs.

       Firing-on-the-Move, Back-Up-Weapon.

       Static Turns.

Afternoon. Ranges:(Full-Automatic.)

       Moving Turns.

       Standards Drills.

       How to Conduct Range Practices & Demonstrations.

Day 5

Morning. Ranges:(Full-Automatic)

       Student Range Presentations.

       Graduation & Final Administration.
