3 Day Pistol

Individual Requirements

    • Ear and Impact Resitant and Wrap Around Eye Protection is Mandatory.

    • Body Armour Must be Worn For All the Live-Fire Room Entry Segments.

    • Pistol and Holster.

    • Full Tactical Equipment. 

    • 400 Rounds Minimum of Good Factory Produced Pistol Ammunition. (No Cheap Reloads or Old Government Surplus Ammunition)

Clothing Suitable for the Range and Classrom and for all weather conditions. (Remeber Iam British, so it will rain for me regardless of season, location or the time of year!!!!!)

Note:  If you're currently a holder of a  "Singleton International" MP5/Colt Instructor cerificate, you may attent this program with a H&K and/or Colt. (I appologise, but this offer is to recipients of my Instructor cerificate only.)

3 Day Pistol General Outline

Day 1.
Morning. Classroom:
Classroom Revision on the Pistol, to Include:
Indexing & Safe Finger Positioning.
Isosceles -vs.- Weaver.
Grip, Stance & Ready Position. Aiming and Firing.

Late Morning. Ranges:
Range Revision of Basic Handling.
Single, Double & Multiple Rounds.

Afternoon. Ranges:
Tactical Reload Drills in Pairs
Tactical Failure & Malfunctions Drills in Pairs
Support Covering Positions.
Firing-on-the-Move, Single Target.

Day 2
Morning. Classroom:
Dynamic Clearing Lecture, to Include:
Tactical Principals & Immediat Threat Concept.
Room Clearance Technique.
2 and 4 Man Room Clearance.
(Prior to Live-Fire Entries all Concepts are practiced Dry-Fire.)
Immediate Threat Concept 2 & 4 Man Entries.

Afternoon. Shoot House & Ranges:
Door Line-Up Entry Techniques.
Live-Fire, Paired Room Entry Techniques, Single & Multiple-Room.
2 and 4 Man Room Clearance.
Firing-on-the-Move, Angled & Lateral.

Day 3
Ranges & Shoot House All Day.

Ranges.
Firing-on-the-Move, Multiple Targets.
Firing-on-the-Move, Lateral Targets.

Shoot House.
6 Man + Room Entries.
Large Team (10 & 12 Man) Room Entries.
(All entries are based on visual identification of Suspects and not just rush in and shoot the targets with the gun.)
Tactical Deployment of Distraction Devices.
Hostage Rescue Techniques.
Hostage Control & Evacuation.
Suspect Control & Evacuation.
